Eloquent goes beyond communication. It is a communication that carries a certain respect for the hearer/reader, a certain thing we used to call "class." Eloquence is the difference between answering phone with, "Yeah -- who is it?" and "Good morning, how may I help you?" Both acknowledge the person at the other end of the phone, but one is crude, the other polite. It pleases me that people recognize this about you. How fine that your ordinary strikes others as eloquent!
