When you stare into the void long enough, you become like the void - empty, devoid, hollow... these are things you think when you first see the void from the outside. It's all the stuff we put around the void that makes it a void. If there was nothing around it, it wouldn't be there - because to be there it depends on other things to not be there.
We tether even our voids to our perceptions because our voids are our lack of perception. Our blind spot. The place we cannot see. But then how can we stare into a void?
We can't. But we can get a sense of it.

Three different people today called me eloquent; 2 as comments on something I wrote and 1 on something I said. I never feel eloquent. I'm not sure how to feel about being called eloquent; I know it is a compliment but I do not have a feeling about it other than a feeling of hope that something I meant got across to other people.
