causality

I live on a round planet, or so I am told. And despite living on a round planet complete with many round things, our own perceptions and perspectives are decidedly linear. We read from left to right or right to left - but not in curves. In straight lines. When we queue, most of the time its in some form of straight line.

When we're in traffic, it's all painfully linear.

But we live on a round planet, or so we are told. It isn't that I don't believe it - I do - but when round is put into the context of our lives, where does it fit?
